Recently a user of one of my websites pointed out to me that when he was opening my website on his browser, the latter could not recognise the ssl certificate and as such was displaying a rather unpleasant message:
“Attackers may be trying to steal your information…”
I believe that this would put off most users. This happened on some browsers only, primarily on android versions of google chrome and safari.
The solution for this was to set up the following attribute in ssl.conf in apache:
SSLCertificateChainFile = point it to where your bundle.crt file is found
Restart your apache server and this should do the trick.
